Dropping in on Detroit-area drummers' practice sessions and gigs is a musical luxury.  The diversity of styles and genres generated by Motor City drummers proves that when it comes to range of technique, innovative rhythms and patterns, and daring experimentation, Detroit rocks! The opportunity to sit down with--and learn from--some of our finest local percussionists  and profile their bands and expose their work to a wider audience excites us.  There's a lot of synergy in this city, and that often gets overlooked.  People around here are giving and they want to share what they love with others.    

The best-of-the-best certainly don't need a group of new-media up-and-comers to boost their presence and promote their agenda.  While national headliners criss-cross the country performing to loyal fans, time and privacy are at a premium.  It seems everyone wants a piece of the action.  Schedules fill up quickly with promotional commitments and various industry-related responsibilities.  That's why the prospect of sitting down with some of the world's finest practicing drummers has us seriously stoked...and honored.
